The title is self explanatory; just the plotting of a basic equity chart to start with would be great to quickly see if a new system has any potential. I have been importing the data into excel and plotting my own charts which is fine but time consuming; a simple SC chart to filter out the real losers would be very helpful and probably not to hard to implement? thanks for any consideration. |

What I had in mind was charting independent of a chartbook/studies that would be displayed say within the Trade Activity log as a tabbed window; it would not have to be involved just a basic equity curve like the one I have attached that I produce in excel; this would just be a very quick representation of a new systems backtest results to see if it's worthy of further work. The Trade Activity stats gives all the information you need to assess a system but a quick visual representation of closed P&L vs time, max runup\drawdown vs time would be very helpful.
