Hello,

I am new to Sierra Charts and I'm sure you guys get this question a lot. However, I haven't found anything on it. I trade both futures and sometimes equities. For Futures I am using AMP Clearing and equities TD Ameritrade. I have noticed that Sierra Charts doesn't do well multiple data feeds or I'm not doing something correctly. - Example: My platform is set to connect to AMP on startup. However, once I manually connect to TD to view equities, my futures data feed is then delayed 10 mins and my symbols change. I understand the 10 min delay is do to you SLA with TD, but unsure why it's using TD instead of AMP data connection.
1) Is this supported?
2) If supported, is there a way to better manage where data is being pulled from? I.E. Futures data being pulled from AMP and equities for TD.
If possible, please point me to the corresponding documentation.

Thanks,
Matt
P.S. You're guys documentation rocks! It is very well written and easy to understand.

In this particular case what you need to do is just run two separate instances of Sierra Chart. Refer to:
Using Multiple Data and Trading Services at the Same Time

Also the symbols do not change among the charts or quote boards when you change the Service in Sierra Chart. There is the capability to change the symbols but that has to be manually invoked.

Thank you in regards to the documentation.

I would be very interested in changing the symbols or creating an alias! The "F.US.EPM19" (For the S&P E-MINI (ESM19)) is driving me nuts! Could you please point me to that documentation?

Thanks,
Matt

Those are CQG symbols. There is no way to change the symbols. But you could use this service which has more reasonable symbols:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

At least we would hope you would think so.
