I have a log of the new installation errors and clicked the 'send Log to Support' button, so hopefully you have it.

I'd like to update to the latest version and correct the severe lag.

Thank you,

Mike Beck

The first question is are you able to run Sierra Chart? Are you experiencing a condition where a chart is just not updating continuously? For what symbol?

1. Yes, I'm able to run Sierra
2. The condition I was experiencing was when attempting to move the chart with 'hand' feature or expanding or contracting the x and y axis', chart movement lagged by a few seconds.

3. Symbol is /ES

I am not currently getting real time data. I will be getting real time June 1.

The problem started happening after I switched time frames on one of my chart from 15 minutes to 60 minutes. I since closed that chart, but the lag is happening on a couple of other charts, not all.

I have plenty of computer power and have nothing else running besides Sierra.

I have since deleted the two windows in the Chartbook that were lagging and sticking. The rest of the windows int that Chartbook work fine. What can I do to prevent this lagging and sticking in the future?

Thank you,

Mike

This is a high CPU usage condition. Refer to help topic 30:
High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often
