session times for ES and RTY not saving on Rithmic

I'm using Rithmic and SC v.1921 and the session times for ES and RTY keep resetting to the default every time I quit and restart SC.

For some reason, the session time portion of the symbol settings is not being saved.

edit:

I've confirmed this also happens with CQG. Interestingly, the session times seemed to be saved when in a second instance. But in the main instances, the ES and RTY session times continue to be reset.

This should now be resolved in version 1922. We did test and could not reproduce.

Tested v.1922 and now I see what the problem is clearly.

The problem is with the "Use Evening Session Time" setting.

If I uncheck Use Evening Session Time, quit SC and then open SC + chartbook again, I see that the Use Evening Session Time is checked again (does this on its own). This is only for ES and RTY (and their micro equivalents). Other symbols seems to work fine, although there are probably other symbols (that I don't trade) that may be affected by the same problem.

That doesn't address the issue.

The problem is that the "Use Evening Session Times" setting within Global Symbol Settings does not save, for ES and RTY. If I uncheck "Use Evening Session Times" in Edit Global Symbol Settings for ES or RTY, that setting does not remain saved because when I quit SC and open SC the next time, "Use Evening Session Times" for ES and RTY symbol settings is magically checked again for some reason.

I did some additional testing and found something you might find useful:

In Global Symbol Settings -> Use Evening Session Times,

a) if you select Custom -> Yes, that setting will be saved, even after exiting SC and restarting it.

b) if you select Custom -> No, that setting will not be saved; after exiting SC and restarting it, you will find that the Use Evening Session Times is automatically selected at "Default", instead of "Custom -> No" like it should.

This is why I am seeing this problem with only ES and RTY because for these 2 symbols, Global Symbol Settings -> Use Evening Session Times -> Default is set to "Yes."

With other symbols like NQ or CL, Use Evening Session Times -> Default is set to "No."

So this does not seem to be a symbol-specific problem but something is happening such that when you select Global Symbol Settings -> Use Evening Session Times -> Custom -> "No", this setting is not saved after you exit SC. Instead, the next time you boot SC, this setting automatically reverts to Global Symbol Settings -> Use Evening Session Times -> Default (which in the case of ES and RTY, is "Yes").

The issue with the custom symbol setting not saving should be fixed in the next release.
