cross-spreadsheet referencing

I've been trying to reference from one chart into another. I am using two spreadsheet studies for trading. They are different time periods. Even though the longer period spreadsheet is registering true, the cross-spreadsheet reference, is not registering true in the shorter time frame spreadsheet. Could you help me understand how to reference from one chart's spreadsheet into another's? |
