Hi guys,

I thought I was aggressive when I built my current PC (M910s Desktop (ThinkCentre) - Type 10MK , specs as attached). When doing manual back testing, it seems to run low on ram memory, took a long time to load and could only support up to 4 Full HD monitors.

My questions; is it possible to add graphic card to support 8 Full HD monitors (or 4 x 4k) and ram to speed up the loading of data, or should I rebuild from scratch?

Personally I try not to create more waste, but I don't know much about tech.... please advise.

Thanks and good karma to everyone.

Cheers.

Recommend upgrading your ram, give yourself 32GB...big diff. Also, research if you'd benefit from a beefier processor (I run a Intel Core i7-7820X 8 core and am extremely happy), it will all depend on if the applications can benefit from the added cores. Also, I run an Nvidia P4000 quad output high end graphics card to push 4 full hd 4K monitors, you may be able to get 2 of those to push 8 monitors, but research first.

Obvious question...do you run solid state drives? If not HIGHLY recommend upgrading. Suspect you do...but have to ask

Good luck,

Randy
