Gain provides data for futures symbol ZQ?## (e.g. ZQM19).

This symbol didn't appear in SC when I searched for it.

I added it in Symbol Settings (see settings in screenshot 1).

If I select it on a chart, I get the errors shown in screenshot 2, and the data is incorrect.

I also subscribe to SC data.

There are several sc-data* fields which need to be set properly.

Our focus is on this new service here:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

This new service does have this symbol.

Can you add integration with Gain Capital to your new service?

If so, I will use it.

No, that is not technically possible simply because they do not use the Trading Technologies infrastructure that we utilize but we will go ahead and add the ZQ symbol for Gain Capital now. But we can't be adding every symbol.

This is one of the frustrations we go through is maintaining symbol settings for too many services. It is too burdensome and gets confusing.

But there may be an alternative. Who is your introducing broker? Or are you direct with Gain Capital? Your introducing broker may support TT.

Thank you for adding ZQ.

I understand how frustrating it must be manage symbols for numerous brokerages.

Introducing broker is Stage5. They support TT through a different clearing house, Dorman. But Gain has some advantages over Dorman.

I'll contact my broker about it.

Just in case you have not already done this, update the symbol settings:

Global Symbol Settings: Update Global Symbol Settings

We would like to know, how Gain has advantages over Dorman. If you could just privately tell us here:

Or we could give you a call about this. We are very determined to provide the absolute best possible software and related services at the best possible price and provide a very good highly reliable redundant unified solution.

Sorry for the slow response. I would be happy to discuss the pros/cons of Gain and Dorman with you. Feel free to call my cell (310... number on record for my account) anytime M-F 8am to 5pm PST.

One more question, do you have plans to support ASX futures with SC's new service at any point? I would like to be able to trade Australian bills (contract IR) and am currently demoing TT for this purpose. If you plan to support ASX then I will hold-off on TT and wait for SierraChart.

Thank you.

TT already supports this exchange so order routing to this exchange is supported now.

As far as providing market data from this exchange, that would have to come through Sierra Chart, and we would have to see about that. This would depend upon our data provider Barchart in this particular case to add that exchange for real-time data.
