This week I moved my main price graph to region 3 and I have spent hours trying to get studies and tools to perform just as they did perform when the main price graph was in region 1. When using study collections with the price graph in region 3, it's adding a previously nonexistent region 4 to the chart the study collection was applied to. Study collection still works perfectly when the price graph is in region 1, the very same studies that are causing the 4th region to be created when the price graph is in region 3 do not produce that 4th region when used with the price graph in region 1, all parameters are the same. The trouble makers are 2 studies: time line and trading:profit/loss text. And they most certainly are being saved with the correct region designation, the chart being saved as a study collection only has 3 regions. The same troublemakers, with the same parameters, do not cause any problems at all when the price graph is in region 1 and the study collection performs perfectly when the price graph is in region 3 as long as the troublemakers are not included in the study collection. Right now I'm adding the troublemakers manually, but that's going to get old, what can I do to correct this?

The system tries to put the studies into the regions that they were in when you saved the Study Collection. Therefore, get everything setup the way you want to see it, including having the Main Price Graph in Region 3, then save the Study Collection. The next time you apply the Study Collection to a chart that has the Main Price Graph in Region 3, it should be correct.

Note that if have different Charts organized differently and you are trying to use the same Study Collection, then you will probably have the same problem. Therefore you would need to save different Study Collections based on how you want the graphs to show up in the chart.

That's exactly what I did do, right from the start, arranged the chart the way I wanted it and then saved it as a study collection, just like I've been doing for years. I have no idea what I'd do if I didn't have the use of study collections, right now my drop down window has 9 active, current, study collections in it. So, back to square one, what can I do to get the above troublemakers to post where they're supposed to post when applying the study collection to a new chart?
