Hi team

I love my Sierra Chart and there’s only one feature I wish you would improve.

Each day, as part of my deliberate practice, I journal my trades in Edgewonk and include screenshots of my executions.

The “Orders and Fills” feature would be better if it was implemented along the lines of cTrader’s “Deal Map” feature. See image attached.

It shows a clear line between entry and exit points which makes it very clear what happened.

Is there any chance you would consider this?

This is already supported. Refer to the instructions here:
Chart Trading and the Chart DOM: Displaying Order Fills on the Chart

There is an option to enable the connecting lines between fills. And we are also working on LIFO matching as well.

But if you want complete reliability with order fills you need to use this new service:
Sierra Chart / Trading Technologies Futures Order Routing Service

Otherwise, there will be occasional problems involving missing fills and fill matching that you will have to understand and deal with.

We are also going to be adding journaling capability.

For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, *change* to the Teton service:

You guys are amazing as always.

Regarding Edgewonk, I’ve got to say there’s now a lot of history in there for me so I’m not likely to switch that part of my business. But as a software engineer I feel it’s a shame that the architecture is closed and there’s no open trading journal APIs you can tap into for your development.
