Whenever I place a limit or stop order using brackets, the SL and TP child-clients stays at 0 when it should be the same number as the contracts. If I enter at market everything works fine. Please look at image below.

The attached orders will be 0 until the parent order fills. And then they will have the same quantity as the parent order.

This is fully documented here:

Lately, they've been staying at 0 when the parent order fills, I was filled and when it reached my stop loss I've got a popup window warning me of the fact which I could not close. I will try to recreate the problem in sim mode.

That does not make sense. And also other than the Trade >> Trade Service Log you would never get any type of pop-up window. If you see that again provide a screenshot of it.

There is a full log of trading activity which will indicate the problem. Follow the instructions here:

Yes, it was it and I couldn't close it because it kept complaining about not being able to close 0 orders. It's not the first time it happened, I haven't been able to recreate it so far but next time it happens I will post a screenshot.

It sounds like you are talking about a program other than Sierra Chart. There is no such thing as closing an order. And a client-side managed child order with a quantity of 0 can be canceled in Sierra Chart. There is no reliance on the order quantity when it comes to canceling an order.

None of this is making any sense to us.

I don't use any other software for charting. I will post a screenshot if it happens again, I updated sierrachart to latest version perhaps that fixed it.

Updating Sierra Chart will not change this in any way. There could not be a problem to begin with. There must be some misunderstanding or another explanation.

Well, it scared me so much that now I won't leave the computer until the order gets filled. I hope it will happen again so I can send you the screenshots.

It is possible the child orders could get rejected but in that case, they would not stay present and at 0 unless there was a problem with the order status of them but really this must be an external trading service issue.

Thinking about this, there could be a scenario where the child orders are sent to the external service which in this case is Transact and then those orders are not acknowledged and the Status of them is Order Sent and then you try to cancel them but you cannot because there is no service order ID yet because there is an acknowledgment pending. So actually we can think of a scenario where this is true but this is an external service issue which we have no control over whatsoever. There is nothing we can do about it from our side.

When you have the issue contact Transact instead. We cannot help with it. No need for screenshots. We cannot help with this.
