Installing Second Instance of SC

Hi SC,
The installer is giving me the following error when i try to install a asecond instance in my C:\ drive. I have the first instance in the same drive. Is it safe to use the zip installer if the installer is not able to do it?

The installer error screenshot is attached below. I have already extracted the software using Zip installer.
Also should the chartbooks saved in the different instance have different names to avoid overwriting?

We can only partially see the error but looks like a domain name resolution error on your side.

The zip installer does not have any Chartbook's so there is no chance of any overwriting from that installer of Chartbook's. You have to make your own decision about the Chartbook names. We really do not fully uunderstand what you are doing and what you intend. Just use common sense in regards to Chartbook naming.

Hi,
I am trying to have two instances simultaneously one using the SC Order routing for Futures service(for UAT and then live trading) and another using SC Data Services(for development purposes). I have sent you the installer log by name of bharatmarella.

Also find attached the snips of the installer log.

Okay understood. The multiple installations will be fine.

The error code 11003 is an error on your side related to name resolution of the SierraChart.com website. Would be best to contact your network administrator for help with this.
