help charts not updating

i have just downloaded the software. I am really stupid so I apologize ahead of time. I am playing with the charts and realise that since I logged on the charts are not updating. YES I know there is a 15 min lag, but right now nothing is updating.

Second, I just opened an acct at IB so I can get data. Is it correct I cannot get live data until the funds clear at IB.

Ensure that the option for Allow Support for Sierra Chart Data Feeds is enabled on the Data/Trading Service Settings window. Refer to the following for this:

If you are wanting to get real-time data from the CME at the reduced non-professional rates, then you do have to have a funded trading account. Refer to the following for more information:

Hi and thank you once again. Yes, it is that IB is waiting for friggin Northern Trust to wire funds. How it can take 3 days for a wire when they have it same day is disgusting. I blame NT not IB. Have spoken with IB and as soon as NT delivers the funds via carrier pigeon they will turn on the direct feed.
