Why do trend lines get all wonky after a period of time? I draw a perfect trend line touching the bottoms of my Renko bars and in 30 minutes or so they are nowhere close to where they were drawn. Is this an issue with trend lines or with the bars?

Thanks

And it is not because the bars have moved away from where the line was drawn. The bars continue at 45 degrees but the lines diverge quite a bit.

Nevermind... it's a Renko issue. Found the docs... Lines/Rays or Other Chart Drawings Move After Drawing Them

Yes that is the relevant documentation:
Lines/Rays or Other Chart Drawings Move After Drawing Them

Just make sure the endpoint of the line does not go into the fill space.

I have the Rays staying stable and I have set up an alert for when current price crosses the Ray. In each case where the price crosses the Ray I receive an audible alert. I would like to link this alert to a "Trading System based on Alerts". Is this possible or am I just wasting time?

Thanks

This is not currently possible with a Ray drawing but we will work on adding support for this.

You can reference drawings in an alert formula:
Study/Chart Alerts And Scanning: Referencing Chart Drawings

But the problem is that it is only the endpoints. So we need to change this to access the drawing value at any chart bar.

This would be great for many users. Did SC implement this yet?
