ISSUE RESOLVED - Syncing data with Bitmex is slow, then stops working entirely

Hello. Doubt this has anything to do with my Bitmex data feed issue, but feel I should mention it anyway: My eval version of SierraChart worked very well with syncing data (couple weeks ago). I upgraded SC this morning to the paid version. Latest version installed. Note: I do not perform any live trading on my system (no Bitmex API key provided to SierraChart). The log below shows slow syncing, and then Bitmex finally gives up and stops sending updates (finally giving the "too many requests" error). After that, it takes 1-2 hours before Bitmex allows me to make more requests. I'm not doing anything differently than I was in previous weeks when I had an operational eval - except for using Renko charts today. I've spent the majority of my day trying to debug this issue (I'm a very technical individual, but not a pro with SC yet). So I don't believe this is an RTFM issue. I'm very sorry if it is my fault and I'm causing extra work for your team with this request for help. Thanks for your support. Figured it out, thanks to User465507 Who posted the following: "I noticed I have no issue connecting when using SC Data - All services" Ref support thread ID: 39604 Somehow (I assume I accidentally did this), my settings for Data Trade Service Settings changed from SC Data to BitMex (but I didn't configure it with my account info) |
