It depends upon the symbol and depends upon what the Data or Trading service is set to in Sierra Chart.

Hi, is there a difference between tick charts for CFDs and futures, specifically on S&P and WTI, regarding tick frequency possibly being different or are they the same for CFDs and Futures? If they differ, is what I am subscribed to and paying for futures tick charts as you do not trade CFDs in the USA? Thank you

Yes there is a major difference between those two different types of products. Huge difference.

Sierra Chart provides historical tick by tick data for both listed futures and also CFD contracts. Location does not matter.

Great, ok, so I am looking at tick charts on WTI and SPX futures. My question: where does Sierra source data from for these two products specifically? I want to use it via an API to automate a simple system. So knowing if the data source has changed over the past 10 years is also important, please specify if your source did change at any point. Appreciated

These come directly from the CME multicast data feed. Prior to November 2013 there are other known good sources.
