If this is in regards to CME futures data, then no you cannot use that trading service to authorize the nonprofessional CME fees.

Yes, this is in regard to CME Futures data.

Can I use the trade station service for Professional CME Fees?
Only difference between using Trade Station versus Sierra Chart for CME fees would be that Sierra Chart feed would be extra 35$ for 100 symbols, whereas, if I understood it correctly if I have a futures trading account then, there is Zero Feed cost and only cost is Sierra Chart Software Subscription cost + Exchange Data Fees.
Is that correct?

No, this is not really correct.

You are going to have to pay the higher-priced professional CME fees which are quite substantial. This is 115 USD per month per market data center:

I read thru many pages on your website, still have a question:

For a user who needs CME Globex Only and is a professional And has a funded trading account at a supported broker, what would be most cost effective scenario to use?
I list two, please tell me if this is correct based on what I read on your website.

==============================
Scenario 1:
Sierra Chart Sofware Subscription
+ Sierra real time Data Feed 20 symbols $25
+ CME Group Profession data fees $115 as CME Globex only fee of $42 CAN NOT BE USED BY Professionals using Sierra Chart Feed.

==============================
Scenario 2:
Sierra Chart Sofware Subscription
+ Data Feed with a funded trading account at a supported broker (any number of symbols): 0$
+ CME Group Globex Only $40 (or whatever is charged by the broker and will be directly charged by the broker from the trading account held at broker).
==============================

There is another possibility. If you are already paying professional fees through Trade Station, then you should not have to pay them again and we can use what is called "netting". There is a little bit of time though to get this arranged. Can you see if Trade Station would be willing to support what is called CME exchange fee netting. This just means they would contact the exchange and provide some information and we would give you a particular reference number they need to provide to the exchange.

For now though you can just activate the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed and activate the particular exchange you want and there will be no exchange fee cost until next month. So this gives you about two weeks.

As per your suggestion, I checked with trade station to see if they will contact CME and support netting, but they said NO.

So, can you please suggest most cost-effective option to use Sierra chart Pack 5 for a "Professional" who needs CME Globex Only?

Either of these scenarios will be fine but with the last scenario we would expect that you would have to pay the full professional fee. Which would be more than $40 a month.

I am not sure why you say that the full professional fee would be more than $40 a month even for CME Globex only.
Please see CME data rates here:
https://www.cmegroup.com/market-data/distributor/files/april-2018-fee-schedule-5.pdf
Monthly Device Fees -> Realtime E-mini ->CME is $40 and CBOT is $20.
Hence, these are also trade station's rates for E-mini's for professionals.
I am not sure why Sierra Chart's data feed does not offer these rates for professionals.

You can use the 42 USD CME Globex exchange as explained here:
Is Historical and Real-time Futures Data Included?: CME Exchange Fees for Professionals and Users Without a Supported Trading Account

The reason we thought you could not was because you said this:

+ CME Group Profession data fees $115 as CME Globex only fee of $42 CAN NOT BE USED BY Professionals using Sierra Chart Feed.
So we were just going off of what you are saying. We do not set these prices, the CME does, and when you said this, we thought that that particular option was not available to professionals. At this point we are not totally sure. But if it is, then you certainly can use it.

And I was going off of what is mentioned on your website: See the last sentence in quotes below.

"CME, Globex only (For users without a trading account: The cost of this is 42 USD/month. This can be used by nonprofessionals only."

Ok sorry for giving out conflicting information. Like we said, we don't really set these fees and we weren't paying close enough attention to what we have actually written ourselves. That information was written a while ago and verified with our vendor of record.

If that is what it says, then that would be true. And anyone doing otherwise, is not complying with CME rules. But we will double check on this.

I think CME fee of $40 for Globex E-minis only is pretty standard for Professionals with/without trading account and for Non-professionals without trading account. You may want to check this with your vendor and kindly update the website.
This may help your professional clients. Appreciate it.

We have verified that professionals can use the 42 CME Globex (CME E-mini) exchange fee.

So we have been given incorrect information previously from our vendor of record, assuming that is how the decision was made as to what was written previously. But this must have been where it came from.

I think it's admirable that you looked into this and asked CME and then changed the relevant info on your site (that this fee applies to pros and non-pros) accordingly.

Glad to know that you were able to verify what I mentioned with CME. Hope this would help your professional clients.
Can you please extend my free trial, while I am trying to set an account with a supported trading service?
