1. when i put the cursor on the time at the bottom of the chart and left click the mouse and move left the space between candles gets larger and smaller when moved to the right...as i understand it should.

2. when i put the cursor on the prices on the y-axis of the chart and left click the mouse and move up and down...the candles just move more to the top or bottom...the candles do NOT get longer or shorter.

3. when i do as in 2 above and hold the control key down the candles still move toward the top or bottom...as i understand it should when using the control key.

since the function works to increase the space between the candles in 1 above...is the function in 2 above somehow broken?

how should i proceed so i can resize the candles...longer and shorter... as i need to so i can easily see the candles?

Thanks!

Right click on the price scale and select Interactive Scale Range and then you should be able to expand or shrink the by left click dragging.

As noted above, try selecting the Interactive Scale Range and ensure that you can change the scale range using that method.

The use of the Control key should work as well. So first try the above, and then use the Control key in combination with your pointer to ensure that you can then move the scale when the Control key is selected. Then change the pointer function when using the left button by changing the mode to Interactive Scale Move and then see if the Control key in combination with the left button works for adjusting the range.

If this still does not work, then the most likely reason is that the Operating System is intercepting the Control key for some reason. Or, if you are using a Programmable Keyboard, make sure the Control key is properly set.
