Hi, all the chart drawings from some of my charts have been deleted and I did not delete them myself. I do not have any chart drawings hidden. Can you explain how this happened and advise how to recover and avoid in future as I do not want this happening again. Let me know what information/logs you need from me to understand what happened. Thanks

The methods for deleting a chart drawing are documented here:
Chart Drawing Tools: Erasing Chart Drawings

So it must have been for one of those reasons.

There are backup Chartbook's available you can use to get the drawings back. Refer to:
Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File

I definitely didn't erase any chart drawings and it has happened across 4 charts, not a one-off occurrence. Have tried to restore a couple of older chartbooks as suggested but none of the drawings appear on any of the charts now (I have 12 charts in the chartbook). What I have noticed is the contract month has changed for ES (from H to M), would this have something to do with it? The charts in my original chartbook with code ESH19 still show drawings but those with ESM19 do not have any drawings anymore. Is this the problem?

Ok you have now identified the problem. Follow the instructions here:

That worked, thanks. What I noticed though is some charts show the drawings are shifted relative to price. Is this because historical prices have been adjusted to cater for the current contract trading at a premium or discount? If so, how can I plot the non-adjusted price? And, are there parameters which can be set as to when to flip to the next contract (ie based on trading volume) or is this done automatically based on scheduled rollover date? Thanks

You can adjust the drawings as you require. Refer to:
Changing to a New Futures Contract Month: Adjusting Chart Drawings to Match Futures Contract Rollover Difference

Is this because historical prices have been adjusted to cater for the current contract trading at a premium or discount?
This is also answered in the section above.

And, are there parameters which can be set as to when to flip to the next contract (ie based on trading volume) or is this done automatically based on scheduled rollover date?
