I recently updated to 1872 and the Message Log is popping up way more than it use to on my multiple instances. It seems to be tagging charts for full recalculation, and thus it stops live data temporarily sometimes while it recalculates. I'm using the "send For Analysis" option on one of the message logs right after I post this.

We are seeing circular references. Here is one example: Chart #4 has tagged chart #2 for full recalculation.
