Why is there too much selling volume being shown on the volume difference bars? I'm using the SC data feed.

In general, in the case of cash Forex markets, Bid Volume and Ask Volume is not going to be really very reliable. Do not use any study like that on a cash Forex symbol.

As far as why you see what you do, we cannot explain that. It would require a lot of study and consideration.

Why is it that in this thread you did not recommend against him using the study:
Cumulative Delta Bars - Up/Down Tick Volume Discrepancies

First that was a long time ago and our answers are going to be dependent on the specific type of question.

Because you are asking us to explain this, and it is not our responsibility to answer this due to the complexity and the fact that we do not directly control that data, our answer is going to be not to use those studies on Cash Forex symbols.

But you could try using Cumulative Delta Bars-Up/Down Tick Volume instead. Just make sure you follow the documentation for that study.

Are you sure because in the other thread you suggested against using that study and highly recommended to him that he only stick with Cumulative Delta Bars-Volume. He is also looking at spot-fx data like I am.

This is because Cumulative Delta Bars-Volume relies on precalculated data. So even if the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit is not set to 1 Tick it should not cause any issue with the accuracy.

Anyway we are just simply making a suggestion. We have not evaluated what is better, we do not know.
