Good day, Sierra Chart Team, hope you all doing well and great,

I'm curious about the difference between the three types of cumulative delta bar study, why are they provide results so differently. What is the difference between trades and volume, aren't they the same? What is the difference in ticks, aren't ticks just trades either?

As the chart shows, the delta study shows different behavior around some of the critical area of the crude oil market;
Take two examples, one is the huge sell-off from last year, and this month is the second example.
By studying the chart, ticks, and volume delta, both shows the buying is weakened, clearly, the second push back is showed clearly with a much weaker buying strength, at 2018-10-09 area, especially, tick delta, tick delta study showcased the weakest pull-back among three study, but the trades delta shows a rather strong buying strength, why is that, volume, trades, ticks, they all look different, am I missing something? Is trades delta performing normally, showing buyer bidding their attempt to pull up the oil price then got themselves stuck in the price ceiling? Are these buyers the energy fund that got bankrupt last year?

I'm also curious about the action of crude oil from this month; this time, volume and trades delta both shows the market is selling this recent pull up in oil price, around the start of 2019-01, but tick delta shows a result quite differently, as the market is either doing sideways or buying the oil, which is odd, as volume and trades delta shows the market is straight up selling off oil since 2019-01-11.

We can see a similar situation on natural gas futures, around recent days, tick delta shows a really clear downtrend of gas price, but the volume delta shows a really strong cumulation of the long position, indicating some big buyers getting long on natural gas, and trades delta is weird, it shows a really really weak buying compare to volume delta, that made me wonder, isn't trades and volume the same or similar? Why are these two studies so not alike?

The cumulative delta bar study provides crucial information base on the real market action, unlike time-based and price-based laggy indicators, delta bar is showing market participants doing real transaction with real money, I value this study quite heavily, and I need to know the subtle difference in these three brother sister study, volume, trades, and tick.
I need the help of Sierra Chart Team. Thank you for your time.
