Dear Sierra Chart, I recently had a scare. My computer screen went black and I had to bring it in for repair. I thought I had backed up my "Go To" chart book, but when I downloaded the AT software and Sierra Charts on a new computer, it didnt work at all. I have since got my original computer back and they didn't need to erase the hard drive fortunately. But now I am in a panic to back it up and have the ability to load that specific chart book on a different computer exactly how it is set up on this one, in the event that this one crashes again. Please help! Thanks, |

You just need to put your Chartbook's which you have saved in another location, into the Data Files Folder which can be determined through this setting: General Settings Window: Data Files Folder (Global Settings >> General Settings >> Paths >> Files and Folder Paths) There are also backup Chartbook's available: Chartbooks (Workspaces): Accessing a Backup Chartbook File Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
