hi I have just started trading live on my sierra account today. However my orders and p&l isent updating or registering my net position / account balance. I checked with my broker and was told to contact support here to try and resolve this matter....any ideas what the problem could be?

It is very unlikely you are actually having a problem with the position quantity reporting. If you are, refer to:
Trading Information Windows: Incorrectly Reported Trade Position Quantity

And as we said before you cannot rely on the account balance data. Disregard that. Consider it unavailable.

Thanks very much for the pointers, iv got the DOM p&ls set to USD now instead so that certainly helps. But am I to assume theres no net cumulative running p&l window to have up during the trading day then?

Thank you so much for that link. I just updated my payments and went for the $35 option to ensure I can get a good bit of historic data for daily continuous charts like the bund or s&p and products like that. Since I have updated my package i have access to all the chart stats and all the rest of the bells and whistles on the trade activity log I dident have access to last week. Would that be why none of the running totals or trade stats etc could be accessed as i was only on a free feed from sierra or can I still get the data and p&l functionality i need on a different package?

No. Having a paid account does not change the behavior of the Trade Activity Log. It functions the same regardless.
