1-minute bar chart doesn't display a new bar every minute

Hello, I am actually watching the EPM19 contract (S&P e-mini differed month future), using a standard 1-minute chart, but it often happens that a new bar is created only every 5 or even 10 minutes. Why is this happening, and most important, is the price I see on the chart the real current price or a delayed price? Sorry if the question had already been asked but I found nothing about it. The June 2019 ES futures contract is currently sparsely traded so you won't get a bar every minute unless there was trading in than minute.
