Hello,

I've noticed that on one of my charts in the chartbook right click menu is not working. I can't right click on the chart and get to the menu (it doesn't show up), I can't use left click to change chart range or move it vertically (via click and drag over prices).

I tried to restart my sierra v1859 quite a few times, but it doesn't help.
I don't see any drawings on the chart via "Manage Chart Drawing Window"
The last thing I did in drawing area on this chart was to place intraday volume profile over few 5-min bars and then I deleted it via Tools / Erase All Drawn Volume Profiles.

Not sure what other options I have except rebuilding the chart.

Thanks and Best regards

Interesting observation. If I uncheck Trade >> Trading Chart DOM On mouse works properly again. If I turn it on on that chart again, right click menu disappears again.

Seems to me a bug lurking somewhere deep in the code.

Hope this could help.

Provide that chart by following these instructions here:
Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

And attach the Sierra3.CFG file in the Sierra Chart installation folder as well. This will be privately attached as well.

Hello,

Thanks for quick response. Please confirm that chart upload went well because I don't see anything in the interface here that would work as confirmation.

Thanks

Sorry about that. Let's try again. 2 files should be attached now.

Using these files, when we right-click on that chart, we do see the menu displayed with the trading related commands on the left and the chart related commands on the right. And the Trading Chart DOM is enabled.

Are you currently experiencing a problem with that particular chart which we see as #1?

Standalone copy of the chart in separate chartbook worked fine yesterday.

I've just checked again original chart and it works fine too, while yesterday it wasn't.

It seems that issue is resolved now.

Thanks again

from time to time I've the same problem, today it pops up again, making a copy of this charts helps for the actual session but after restarting sierra. the right click feature goes away, I can't also move the chart using the left mouse and try to move within the price scale.
The only thing that brings the functionality back is by deactivation the chartDOM but I need it
For me it looks that turning on chartDOM is deactivating all mouse functionality, I can't move/compress/right click and all this things

any solution for the problem?

All we can say is when you have the problem provide the chart so that we can test it. Here are instructions:
Support Board Posting Information: Providing Chartbook with Only a Single Chart

This assumes though the problem remains even after restarting Sierra Chart.

Hi, I have the same problem. I used to have it also in past. I can not do anything with chart (drawing, moving, right mouse button does not work) until I switch off "Trading chart DOM On".
If I duplicate this chart to another Chartbook it starts working normaly. Any idea what should be a problem?

Patrik

See chartbook attached. Some charts work some dont.

I found no solution, if I copy this chart into an other chartbook or only make a copy within the same chartbook it's working fine but closing and reopen the chartbooks and the error is back again, no response to any mouse event

In this case simply provide us the Chartbook this is happening with and we will test. Here are instructions:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

At the time you have this problem save the Chartbook and attach it.

Let us know the Chart Number within that Chartbook this is happening with.
