Hello Sierra Support, perhaps the attached screenshot makes it easier for you to diagnose. Thanks in advance,

---

Please see attached screenshot.

As you can see, loss is set to 400, and current net P&L says 141.32C.
This net P&L value is wrong, the account is at -559.

I have referred to "Help with daily profit/loss value" Help With Daily Profit/Loss Value

Include Open P/L in Chart/Trade DOM P/L Display (NPL) is unchecked as instructed.

The correct Profit/Loss Format set in all charts' Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings (set to Currency).

The Trade Activity Log hows my correct net P&L.

I should mention that I'm using CQG fix and my account was flat at the beginning of this trade date.

I was able to trigger this feature by

1) closing all my chartbooks (chart stats tab of Trade Activity Log shows no position, no P&L)

2) opening a new chartbook, opening a new intraday chart for the loss symbol

3) turning on chart trade mode. It now shows the daily loss correctly.

However, I had chart trade mode turned on in this symbol in my other chartbook, the total loss showed in the Trade Activity Log, and yet the P&L window in the Global Profit/Loss Management box showed positive on the day whereas the Trade Activity Log showed the (correct) negative figure.

My chartbook is attached. Thanks.

We understand why this problem is now occurring. We are going to change the way that Global Profit/Loss Management works and you will have to set the particular charts you want included in the Profit/Loss calculations.

Otherwise, the charts selected can be effectively random and not give you an expected result consistently.
