Hi there. I'd really appreciate if you could help be unstuck these couple of related issue:

1) I set the global time zone to be Chicago (-6 CST), the chart time zones have been set with "Use global Time Zone". This means that my charts will display times in Chicago Time Zone, right? All good here.
In global symbol settings I've set the session times relative to NY time zone (-5 CST).
My session evening session starts at 17:00, which should therefore be relative to NY time zone (-5 CST), yet the session break vertical line on the chart is showing at 17:00, but it shouldn't as my display should be relative to Chicago time zone (-6 CST), i.e. displaced 1 hr. Why the session break vertical line is showing in the wrong location?

2) Is the volume-based back-adjustment in rollovers of futures done the same way regardless of the symbol settings? In other words, should I load the back-adjusted chart using server settings and then modify global settings to my preference, or it doesn't matter, and the rollover should be correct even if I change the symbol global settings before?

thanks
a

Regarding both of these items, both of these are affected only by the chart session times set in the chart itself:
