Since I tried out "Window > Tile as grid horizontally" it's no longer possible to keep a chart permanently maximized (Window > Maximize). It returns to grid view every time I resize the main program window and on every SC restart. Already tried Window > Restore and Chart > Reset Child Windows (with current stable and pre-release).

This must be caused by Windows 10. This is with certainty. Sierra Chart does not resize windows when you change the main program window. And when you restart Sierra Chart, the previous size and position of each chart is restored.

Thank you. Yes, when I restart SC it reliably restores window size and position. It's just that the main program window always shows multiple charts in grid view instead of one maximized chart. If I maximize a chart and then resize the program window manually (or restart SC) it switches back to grid view. Do I have to recreate the chart book from scratch or is where anything else I could try?

btw this does not happen when I create a new chart book (with multiple charts). Everything behaves as expected and I can resize the main window without it switching back to grid view. So not sure if the problem is really caused by Windows 10, it seems to be related to a particular chart book.

We cannot reproduce this using your Chartbook:
It's just that the main program window always shows multiple charts in grid view instead of one maximized chart. If I maximize a chart and then resize the program window manually (or restart SC) it switches back to grid view.

You also have some charts which do not have title bars and that could cause some odd behavior. This issue and any other unexpected behavior is all going to be related to the operating system. We cannot provide further help to you.

Thanks, that's exactly what it was. Just noticed that the problem only occurs when maximizing a chart that does not have a title bar. Unhiding the title bar solves the problem.
