Started about a week ago.

I followed the instructions under: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/Tools.html#CompactToolValuesWindowNotVisible

I checked Window | Show Compact Tool Values Window
I selected Chart | Reset Child Windows
I selected Window | Reset Windows
Under Global Settings | Tool Settings I checked both:
-> Save Compact Tool Values Window Position for Each Chart
-> Keep Compact Tool Values Window Always Visible with Tool

I still have no Compact Tool Values Window.

Running version 1842.

Do Chart >> Reset Child Windows again. Select Tools >> Chart Values. And then left click on the chart to activate the tool. You should see the window.

Can you please attach the Chartbook that is having the problem along with the Sierra3.cfg file to this thread. Your Sierra3.cfg file will be automatically added privately.

To attach files, follow the instructions here:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/PostingInformation.php#AttachFile

I have attached one of my chartbooks. I don't believe the problem is in the chartbook, as it occurs in all of my chartbooks.

Also attached is the sierra3.cfg file. As a test, I renamed the sierra3.cfg file and then opened Sierra Chart. Of course, I lost all my settings, but I was able to see the Compact Tools Value Window. So my guess is you'll find the problem in this file.

I updated to 1849, then ran through the reset steps again, and my that solved the problem for me.

I tried that. I can get "chart values" window but not "tool values" window.

Did you select both Window >> Reset Windows and Chart >> Reset Child Windows?

And then try to reopen the Tool Values window through the Window menu.

After selecting Window >> Reset Windows and then Chart >> Reset Child Windows the Tools Value Window was in the default location.
