It worked this morning, and yes I was doing everything right yesterday, guess it just took a few hours for everything to filter through.

Thank for your time.

On another topic, if there a way with the DOM to get rid of all the mini ticks on FX?

For example, GBP-USD is priced at say 1.2800 but brokers usually offer half ticks (1.28005) or in the case of LMAX 1/10th of a tick (1.28001 then 1.28002 and so on).

These 10ths of a tick make any DOM pretty useless at the DOM only will only show about 2 proper ticks from where it is because all the 10th ticks get in the way. I used to use the excellent Button Trader DOM (until IB forced it to close) and that software had the ability to 'tighten up' the DOM so it would just show each 1 full tick, ie 1.2801, 1.2802, 1.2803 and so on. Then the DOM showed about 15 full ticks either side which made it very usable.

Is there a way to do this with SC DOM?

Thanks,

Yes. This is supported, you need to use this particular setting:
Chart Settings: Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Market Depth menu)

And you may also want to adjust the Tick Size setting:
Chart Settings: Tick Size (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Symbol >> Symbol Settings menu)

Thank you but this is still not working.

I am using LMAX GBP-USD

This is quoted in 1/10th of a tick.

1 tick = 1.2801 to 1.2802

LAMX prices the above at 1.28011 then 1.28012, 1.28013 and so on.

Having so many prices makes the trade DOM (not the chart DOM) a shadow of what it could be as there are just too many prices.

I therefore would like the DOM to show every proper tick, so 1.2800, 12801, 12802. The DOM then naturally expands to make it so much more useful.

I have tried adjusting the Tick Size and the Market Depth Combine Increment in Ticks (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Advanced Settings 3 menu) and the DOM doesn't shift, it still shows everything in 1/10th of a tick. Basically nothing changes on the DOM.

Any ideas, thanks.

You need to set the Tick Size in Chart >> Chart Settings to .0001 and then after that follow the instructions here to rescale the chart DOM:

If I may, SierraChart Support, I think what the OP is needing is "round prices to tick size" study , and set it as main graph setting.

That will make the DOM and price scale only change in instrument tick sizes.
