Dear Support Team, like other users (I read a few posts in the support board about it), I really don't like it that there is no way to choose "flat to flat" anymore in the trade activity log. As a multi-lot trader I want to see the results (and number of) of the full trades at the end of it (once all contracts are closed) and not plenty of lines showing/counting each individual contract. I don't understand why this feature can't be brought back to life. Any proper analysis software I know of normally shows the flat to flat trades and then the trader has the possibility to look into details (fill prices of each contract etc.), if he/she WANTS to. Can you PLEASE reconsider your apparent decision to not bringing back the simple flat to flat option? (There seem to be plenty of users who would like to have it back...) Yes, there are lines that show the flat to flat statistics, too. But why does one need to scroll through heaps of lines prior to getting there? This doesn't make sense to me (nor others). Moreover, I noticed that the statistics are wrong: Today I took three trades (flat to flat). All of them were winners, but in the statistics one of those flat to flat trades was counted as a loser, although only 1 contract of that trade ended up in negative (as my BE+1 stop loss suffered from a 2 tick slippage), while overall that trade was in positive due to the other contract having been filled at +10 ticks before. There must be something wrong in the calculation. Thanks in advance for any feedback and for reconsidering the removal of the option to show proper flat to flat stats. Kind regards |

Refer to posts 11 and 12 here: Reimplementation of Trades and Trade Statistics and Period Trade Stats Tabs/Calculations Moreover, I noticed that the statistics are wrong: This will be resolved today. We see why this happens.

It is reasonably possible for us also limit the displayed fields on the Trade Statistics tab when the new Edit >> Summary Trades Only for Trades List option is enabled but we would just rather wait for more feedback on that. So we have always been conscientious of the additional information displayed and had in mind to implement a solution for the Trades tab and this has now been done and should be out later today. We have released version 1832 which corrects the calculation error you described with the Trade Statistics. And we have also implemented Edit >> Summary Trades Only for Trades List on the Trade Activity Log window.

Thank you very much for your feedback and the announcement of version 1832, in which everything has been solved. Just one more thing, please: I noticed that one of the many columns in the log is called "Notes" or "Note" (I'm currently not at my trading computer), which is a good thing in my book; however, I wasn't able to type anything in there. Is there anything I'm missing? Or is this a function still to be activated? (Should it be possible to write in that column in version 1832, feel free to just ignore this message. :-) ). Kind regards |

The Note/Tag is set through the Trade Window and is associated with orders when you submit a new order. Thank you for the clarification. It seems I misunderstood the purpose of that column then. (I thought it is supposed to allow for comments about the trades AFTER they are closed.) |
