For the Volume Weighted Average Price study, would it be possible to add another choice to Input 2/Standard Deviation Band Calculation Method? The choice I would add is Percentage, so that the study could for example draw lines 1% above and below VWAP. Thanks, RLW |

Sorry, we have not had a chance to get to this. There has just been a lot going on lately. It is on our list of things to do when we have some spare time.

We finally had a few minutes to add this option in. In the next Pre-Release (v 2010), you will have a new option for Input Standard Deviation Band Calculation of Percentage. This just takes the percentage of the VWAP at the specific bar and uses that as the offset. So entering a value of 2 would be an offset of 2% of the VWAP. This has been documented here: Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) with Standard Deviation Lines For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
