Candle Sticks / Ticks Mismatch

Hello,

My charts both in time based candlesticks and also in ticks are not placed correctly (not same candles, different number of candles, in dif. order) referenced them on line and with another friend who also has Sierra Charts but they are completely different.

Chart Settings I have set according to references set in web site but still unable to sort it.

Can you please tell me how to set them correctly.

I live in Panama, Central America. Version 1825.

From our perspective we have no precise understanding of what you are asking about. You are going to have to be overwhelmingly precise and clear for us to give you some help. Otherwise, we are declining support.

Hello,

A colleague of mine highly recommended your platform not only for being one of the most advanced and configurable in the market but also great support. You initial reply seems harsh and not customer friendly.

As per your instructions here is chart:

This chart compared in 2 platforms (plus online live charts) one being another SC from a friend is:
1. Does not update at all. (Reload and recalculate option used in chart settings but still doesn't update)
2. When I close and restart SC it does update the charts )but still missing candles.
If I put regular time based candles and restart SC it updates candles but there are 2 to 3 missing
(10 to 15 minutes unaccounted)
3. Comparing the candles there are placed differently in my platform, there are not the same length,
some are longer and some are sorter. Comparing with friends SC platform same chart, same number
of ticks or regular candles it is different. (different placement of candles, there not even close to being the same)
Firewall has permission to allow SC all access

You initial reply seems harsh and not customer friendly.
This is because this type of support request is difficult for us and we need to get precise details from the user. Otherwise, it is hard for us to know what the issue is.

Maybe the market was closed at this time. Check with the exchange schedule and also refer to:
Historical Intraday Data (Missing Data / Download Errors / Viewing More Data): Retrying the Download When There is Data in the Chart

If you are referring to charts based on a variable time frame per bar, then refer to:

Our recommendation is that both of you use the New Bar at Session Start setting:
Chart Settings: New Bar at Session Start (Chart >> Chart Settings >> Session Times >> Intraday Chart Session Times menu)

And make sure all of the other Chart >> Chart Settings are identical.

I am going over all the information you sent me and have a couple of questions:

So I understand that the trial doesn't not have Emini SP 500 or equity shares live data but delayed, correct? This part is confusing as my friend that started using Sierra 2 years ago had this in his trial.

If I wish to have live Data from SC (I don’t have a trading account open yet) I have to pay for SC platform $24 plus $35(For 100 Real-Time Symbols: 1st connection 35.00 USD/month.) , correct?

I only need live data for SP500, DJIA, NASDAQ futures plus equity shares.

I am using SC Data-All Services Service.

Please let me know

There has never been a case where a Sierra Chart trial directly includes futures or stock real-time data. The exchanges do not allow that.
