Huge Serious GAIN Issue.

Due to the change in the Symbol Date of the Data the data is not displaying correctly at all. It is not current and there is no historical since the change. The current range is 2762.50 to 2753 in the ES as of this post and all that is currently displaying is 2758 to 2756.

This is a problem. I cannot trade - Suggestions as I do not need or want to pay for data at this time - that is why is am using GAIN.

We have not yet contacted Gain Capital about the change to two digit years in futures symbols, and we did not think that the FIX server was affected because they never told us about that but clearly it is.

Even if we did get an answer about this, it would take us a couple of days to implement a solution anyway. We will have this all solved by morning. A software update is going to be required and that will automatically update your symbols. And we will also put out a System Notification message about this.

For now you can change the symbol of the chart to two digits as explained here:
Changing the Symbol of a Chart

We also need to verify the historical data is going to be downloaded for two digit years. Possibly, but we need to see.

Thank you. I did change the date and yes it works except there is no backfill (historical) as you mentioned.

We have unfortunate news here and maybe some of you are having the same problem. We have now tried to use a two digit year in the symbol but still do not receive real-time data. So at this point Gain Capital needs to get this resolved. We are contacting them now about this.

But if you are able to receive real-time market data, that is good. But we cannot.

We have contacted Gain Capital about this. And are awaiting their response. At the moment we have added in historical data which is current as of this Sunday evening but it is not updating.
