I missed my opportunity to sign up for CTS Low Cost Connection Model service before it was discontinued.

Will Sierra be offering a Low Cost Connection Model service on another platform? Would anyone be able to share some insights on what the platform may be and timing for this?

I thought I read a comment in another post that Sierra may deliver this service on TT?

I would like to position myself at account creation to leverage this solution if it became available in the future.

I checked the sticky - What is Sierra Chart Working On but didn't see anything on Low Cost Connection Model service.

Thank you.

You can still use this. It exists, is well supported and works well. We just do not want to put up with initial connection problems some users have. The instructions are still present on the CTS page.

We are developing a new solution with TT.

Hello,

To use the Sierra-managed, lower-cost CTS connection model, do I now need to switch my SC level from "3 -Standard" to "5 -Advanced"?

Is there any way to get a demo that doesn't expire? I could click "Request demo account" at Manage External Services Login Details (https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=TradingServiceLoginDetails) but already have another CTS demo -- expires every two weeks but you just have to ask CTS to reset it and they will.

Thanks.

You really should use our futures trading evaluator service:
Announcement: Realistic Futures Trading Evaluator Service Now Available

There is no extra cost for that. That will work with the CME exchange fee you are paying as long as you have a funded trading account.

Would you clarify the instruction "Complete the market data setup as instructed on the webpage."

If I am getting my data from SC, do I still need to enable market data for the CME on www.t4login.com to trade the ES using the CTS connection model? My t4login settings are all set at None currently.

You do not need to activate any exchanges through CTS but as we understand the market data set up is indeed necessary. You just need to go through whatever they are prompting for.
