I can login but I don't get access to the datafeed that Gain Capital provides me. The DF keeps trying to connect.
I discussed several times this issue with my broker Cannon Trading (John Thorpe is my broker) we check the data is active and I"m paying for it. We check the DTS and everything seems to be ok there. The pc runs on a windows 7 and has 8 gig of memory, I do not use the 64bit icon to login and there is no firewall on the pc as well.
Please advise.
Attached pics with the relevant screens.
Thanks.

Refer to this section here for Gain Capital connection problems:

What we see in the log is that after sending the Logon message, the Gain Capital server is closing the connection. So your broker needs to contact Gain Capital about this and find out why it is they are closing the connection. They need to give them your Gain Capital username

We can only say that this is a very good example, of why we are way above everyone else in technical competency. They are not dealing with the issue. So now we have to contact them and find out what the problem is.

We have heard from Gain Capital and the problem is that your Gain Capital username is case sensitive. So you are not entering it correctly. Reenter it according to how it needs to be. Contact your broker for further help.
