The unique machine generated password for the SierraChart Application via t4login.com at $0.50/side is working to login to my live account inside of Sierra Chart.

The unique machine generated password for the SierraChartOnly Application via t4login.com at $0.10/side is not working to login to my live account inside of Sierra Chart.

I called CTS, they said there's no reason one application password should be working but not the other, thus the issue must be with Sierra Chart.

Please advise.

How do you come to the conclusion, this is not working? Are you not able to submit an order when using the CTS Trading-DTC connection? And what is the error message?

I come to this conclusion because the machine generated password on t4login.com for the SierraChartOnly application has not been working to login when setup here:

The error message was: "Login failed: most likely incorrect user and password combination"

We do not know the answer to the question and we have also made the decision in recent days that we are no longer going to be supporting the CTS low cost connection model for new users due to all of these login difficulties.

We are going to be developing a new solution with TT instead.

Can you just disable this two factor authentication on your account for now?

I disabled two factor authentication, input my t4login.com password here https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=TradingServiceLoginDetails however, this has caused my live account to not show up when I login to the CTS Trading-DTC connection. It appears I am connecting to the CTS Demo account "SierraAccount3" even though I have removed this account from: https://www.sierrachart.com/UserControlPanel.php?page=TradingServiceLoginDetails

Set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Setting >> Firm to the particular firm you are using. It should not be set to Demo. After this reconnect to the data feed.

I've always had the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service Setting >> Firm set to the correct clearing firm.

What I was trying to say is that even with this being set to the correct clearing firm, when I connect, I'm connected to what appears to be the CTS demo data feed.

I come to this conclusion because when connected, in the Orders And Position window, under the Trade Account column, it says SierraAccount3 in addition to the Account Value column saying 10000000.00.

This is what we currently see:
CTS T4 FIX | Received trader logon response with CTS username '**'. Text: Login failed: Undetermined | 2018-10-16 17:58:33

The login is just not succeeding. And we really apologize for this. From our perspective, we have to develop a better solution and that is not with CTS. This is why we are dropping support for new users for this connection method.

This is simply out of our hands. We do not even know what it means "undetermined". Contact CTS for help with this. And have them explain what that means.

Also understand that the login to your account to CTS on our server occurs about every 10 minutes if it is failing. So any changes that are made, allow about 10 to 15 minutes for them to go into effect.
