Why did you remove the flat to flat option? please add it back. Also please fix the trade stats for charts. Why do we need to see the same symbol over and over again? How do I fix the open P/L on the trade stats for charts tab to show $ amount? Why are there so many changes to the Trade Activity log? It was great before. Now it is horrible and the information I used to rely on when I trades is gone. Please roll it back! |

The flat to flat option is gone and we have added additional fields as a replacement as explained here: Reimplementation of Trades and Trade Statistics and Period Trade Stats Tabs/Calculations There is no need for that mode any longer. The implementation of that was confusing and not proper and some of the fields were simply inaccurate. There are new fields which show the same information. All of the Trade Efficiency fields are now accurate and based on a flat to flat calculation. There is a new field (Overall Profit/Loss), which shows the running PL within a flat to flat trade. Give the changes a chance, and if you are still not happy, you will need to move on to another program other than Sierra Chart. It is not going to come back. and the information I used to rely on when I trades is gone. Also, this is not correct. Let us know what you need, and we will tell you what fields to look at. We are sure you can obtain the same information, and see the breakdown detail within each flat to flat trade.

Hi There, Could you please tell me how to view the running P/L for all instruments combined? I use this to track my daily P/L swings, but now it seems to be separated on an instrument by instrument basis. Neither the "Running P/L" or "Overall P/L" columns display this. Please see attached for an example. Thanks |

We cannot promise that we can provide that on the Trades tab. There is a reason why it is designed the way it is now. It relates to how the code is organized and various performance improvements. The running profit loss is specific to a particular symbol and Trade Account. But you can certainly get the Total Profit/Loss for Closed Trades on the Trade Statistics tab for all symbols and/or all accounts.
