Hey,

Both a friend and I are connected to CQG. We both had different bid/ask totals. Why is that? Eventually it smoothed out a little, but was 500-700 off at times.

There is quite a lot of work to analyze this and this is not something we would do for an external data feed. This is why we marked it as a User Discussion. One thing about the CQG data feed, is that the market depth data is time stamped to the local computer clock so it is hypersensitive to that which can contribute to a problem like this.
