Horizonal Grid Lines Distort and Move

Horizontal grid lines, which are aligned with prices on vertical price column on right side of chart, do not maintain set spacing. Instead, they change the spacing, and distort. Instead of one line per price, I have one line for every other price; OR my scale also changes by itself, from 1-point (my setting) to 2 points, or a mix (see image). I would like the prices to stay at 1-point, and the lines to stay at 1 line per price point, but still be able to move the price action up or down within the chart frame.

This is a mild example; most of the time, several lines are missing when it does this. I have to drag the vertical price column to straighten it out.

I have scale increment set to 1.00 to avoid a 2-point scale, which is what happens when set to 0.

Please advise on how to keep the horizontal grid lines consistent with the prices.
