protocol mismatch

Hi,

In my SC log file there are every time two lines with a mismatch warning :

TransAct Trading | Server protocol version: 4. Client protocol version: 6. There is a protocol mismatch! |
SC Market Stats | Server protocol version: 8. Client protocol version: 6. There is a protocol mismatch! |

The feed is working, but 2 to 5 times a day I am losing the price feed (market statistics keep going). I then have to reset the bridge which connects me again.
Not a big deal but annoying and not normal.

How can I change my client protocol version ? And which one should I use then : 4 or 8 ?

You are running a version years old. You must update to the current version by following these instructions:

Unacceptable ?
Unacceptable is probably your attitude ...
I did not update this version because the newer versions do not have a status bar anymore
and the alternative you offered doesn't match my needs (horizontal CTV Window layout)
as I learned with another account using version 1621.
But I might move both accounts to CQG after 11 years - maybe that is acceptable for you !

Okay we just have to be very clear about updating. When a user contacts us for help, we need to be very clear about what needs to be done to resolve the issue. We make no apologies about this .

If you need to move to CQG, then please do that. This does not matter to us. What matters to us, is providing quality software that works well , is high-performance, and has the features that people need. The Compact Tool Values Window is greatly enhanced compared to what exists before and we are quite happy with it. We do not have anyone at this much later point in time raising any issue with it. There are enhancements with it that you may not even be aware of.
