Extend POC until intersection - stops at the beginning of next day

I have POC enabled to extend until future intersection however the line stops at the beginning of the day instead of the point of intersection and it's not visible anymore. Is there a way to make the line go until the bar that made the POC touch?

No, there is no other option to have the line extend any further than it currently does.

That's too bad because it's easy to miss extended POC which defeats the purpose. Maybe this is something you can potentially add in the future.

@PF_FD Curious as your first picture shows what you are saying but your second picture the vpoc was intersected so it will stop at the day of intersection.

Unless I am misunderstanding see the picture below - The naked vpoc is extended to the price scale.

See attached.
You can clearly see that it stops at the beginning of the day IF there is a bar during that day that touched that price.
What I want to see is that pink line touch the actual bar that reached POC price.
Hope it makes sense.

Hi,

I would have to guess that it is calculated using day.
Which would make sense. How could they do it otherwise
with so many chart variables. (Times, Range, Renko, Etc)

However it works on Numbers bars. But then again you are specifying the
bar type.

PS As you know you can do as I do in prep, and draw a horizontal line
using the same color. That is what I do.

PSS Naturally I concur with you and would be nice if they could do it.

Only reason I asked for this is because I come from InvestorRT and their POC extends til the actual bar so I was surprised that Sierra doesn't do it this way.

Is there any ETA on this feature?

Also, on a related note, when I draw a profile manually and have VPOC extend until end of window it disappears when the profile is not visible. The whole point is to draw a profile and see a level in a future but if it's not visible you won't see that level. Is that a bug is it by design? Any way to change that?

We will check on the prior request here.

This is by design. There is no way around this.

I'm struggleing to get POC and Value Areas extended. When I select POC, VAH, ... only they do not extend until further intersection. When I choose Volume Profiles & POC, VAH,... it does because of the Value Area Outline. I made the Volume Profile the same colour as the background of the chart, but this costs a lot of performance to do so. Can you add the extended POC/VAH/VAL withput Volume Profile to your wishlist? ;)

Or do I miss something in the settings?

I also very much expected to be able to extend a simple POC into the future without needing the profiles, but can't. Can this be added please?
