Hi, I would have to guess that it is calculated using day. Which would make sense. How could they do it otherwise with so many chart variables. (Times, Range, Renko, Etc) However it works on Numbers bars. But then again you are specifying the bar type. PS As you know you can do as I do in prep, and draw a horizontal line using the same color. That is what I do. PSS Naturally I concur with you and would be nice if they could do it.
