Hi,

All the font on my drawings has gone large when upgraded to this V1802. It seems to have defaulted to a global font.

When I go to Global Settings --> Graphic Settings --> Fonts, there is no text setting which matches the large text which is showing on my chart.

Either I don't know where to find the global font setting this has defaulted to, or there is an issue with the version release.

Thank you.

The text config tool can't save so it grabs whatever SC likes it to grab. Hence you got whatever you got.
The custom text draw config can save but it doesn't care what you save so it draws whatever there.

We are going to be releasing in about 10 minutes version 1803 which resolves these font size issues for drawing tools.

The difficulty with this at times is that when you select a particular point size, the operating system returns what is called the logical height. It is not the point size. So if you select something like a 10 point font, the return value could be something like -23. So there were a couple of places where we did not have the proper translation between point sizes and logical height for tools.

And this is also another reason why when the DPI setting changes on the computer, the font sizes may not be as expected or in the case where you were to share the global configuration with someone else.

AFAIK, version 1785 has none of this problem but having GDI leak issue which is why I keep using that ver until now. Reverting to 1785 also fixes the problem.
My friend has the same problem as mine on 1802 so he reverts to ver 1795 which seems to fix his but he wasn't aware of the GDI problems until I told him so.

For what it's worth.
