I would like to see the following volume profiles on my continuous futures contract chart : daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly. I want only these 5 profiles, i.e, not multiple daily/weekly/monthly.. profiles. When I use "One period at end of fixed time length", I DON'T get monthly/quarterly profile starting at the month/quarter. Instead I get previous 30 days/90 days profile. Currently, I draw 5 profiles manually from selected start date time to end of profile for all these 5 timeframes but I need to change it every day, week, etc and also need to change individually for every contract that I watch. How do I achieve the above? (so that I can save those 5 studies as study collection and get it on every contract with single-click through Analysis >> 'Studyname') Thank You.

It sounds like if you set the Volume Graph Period Type to One Period from Most Recent Period Start to End and then set the Time Period Type for 'Fixed Time' to the period type you want (Day, Week, Month, Year), that this should work. The only caveat is that there is no setting for Quarters, therefore for those, you would have to use From Start Date-Time to End

You will find the documentation for this setting here:
Volume By Price Study: One Period from Most Recent Period Start to End

Hi

I just checked and it seems to work for quarterly timeframe also. Thank You. But I have a timezone problem for all monthly timeframes. It starts 1 day ahead. For eg, the monthly profile for this month August starts on July 31. I use Indian timezone which is ET+9:30. This means my monthly profile starts at Jul30 18:00 Eastern time. Same for 2-month timeframe, etc. But this problem disappears when I use ET or UTC. Same problem when I use multiple profiles based on monthly or even TPOs. How do I overcome this? (In ET, market open hours are 18:00 to 17:00. For Indian timezone, its 3:30 to 2:30)

To solve this, make sure you do not use reversed Session Times. These are explained here:

I think I haven't used reversed session times. These are the session times I need--- StartTime-03:30:00, EndTime-02:29:59 (This time in India corresponds to 18:00:00 to 16:59:59 in ET). Is this invalid?

The only session time which solves is 00:00:00 to 23:59:00 (3.5 hrs ahead of actual session time needed), But even though monthly profiles are now perfect, daily and weekly profiles are affected as new candles are formed 3.5 hrs before the day actually closes. Please use Indian time zone from your side with above start time & end time that corresponds to ET 18:00 to 17:00 and tell me if it is attainable. Thank You.

Just now I have observed this-- the problem is with end time...it needs to be less than 23:59:59 for the monthly profile to start from August1. This means I need to either miss the last 3.5 hrs everyday to get start time right or adjust with new day starting 3.5 hrs early to not miss out any volumes both of which are not fine. Please check from your side.

Well one thing you can do is use 0:00:00 and 23:59:59 for the Start Time and End Time respectively. We cannot make any changes from our side in regards to this.
