Interday Chart not updating to current day

Chart isn't updating and when I delete and download, it fails saying symbol can't be found on the server. Here is the log: HD Request # 175 | Error downloading historical Intraday data for INDU-I-NYSE. The symbol is unknown to the server. | 2018-06-16 15:01:05 HD Request # 175 | Received 0 records from 00:00:00 to 00:00:00 (0.0 seconds) and wrote 0 records for INDU-I-NYSE | 2018-06-16 15:01:05 We have the data chart for the INDU-I-NYSE daily and it is working/updating fine. |

Hello, Thanks for the response. We contacted Interactive Brokers and they were able to tell us that we are receiving data for that symbol and to talk to you. We think the real answer is that the Dow Jones rules is prohibiting them from providing the data over the API. If that is not the problem, then tell them to explain how exactly the API Contract structure needs to be filled out for this particular symbol. We are contacting Interactive Brokers about this. If it is a market data policy issue from Dow Jones, they should have told you that. And they also should have a single unified string for a symbol with an easy search feature on their website to get symbols. Not the inconsistency and complexity that they do for standard listed symbols. This is the basis of our complaint. If there is an issue with how the TWS API Contract structure has to be filled out due to changes on their side, only we can help with that. We apologize for the delay. We did hear from Interactive Brokers on this. You need to use this symbol: INDU-IND-GLOBEX This is now listed in File >> Find Symbol. Here are instructions to change the symbol of an existing chart: Changing the Symbol of a Chart We did spend a fair amount of time on this previously and did test that particular symbol but did not receive data. Hello, The DOW Daily chart updates at night but is not active during the day. The 13 minute DOW chart doesn't update at all and is stuck on data from March. This is not the correct symbol any longer. You need to use the new one found in File >> Find Symbol >> IB Indexes. The new symbol is: INDU-IND-GLOBEX Also all index symbols need to use -IND- in the middle. I is no longer supported as of 1838.
