CME Exchange - free trial without a Trading Account

Until now among the Sierra's supported service providers I have traded exclusively with IB. In the following days I have planty of time and I would like to test the Number bars and the most advanced features of Sierra on some markets but I'm having some difficulties to properly understand how to set up TWS. Most likely I can eventually overcome the situation (and I will definitely need to do it when I want to real trade with Sierra on IB!). However, in order to start immediately to "play", can I activate the trial version of: >>Full CME Group (CME, CBOT, COMEX, NYMEX) with Market Depth for nonprofessional Trading accounts >>Market Depth Included: Yes without ever making any link to my TWS account? If not, what markets can I immediately activate and start to use without needing to set up my IB account? I will try to finalize the setup in the next days, or I will eventually decide to open an account with another broker accepting Sierra. |

Thank you for the fast reply. I am aware of the situation regarding CME. My question is relative ONLY to the FREE TRIAL offered by CME. The fact is, I would like to start NOW the free trial, that is going to end next week on June 1st, knowing that studying and then succesfully implementing the setup instructions for IB might be not so easy (but I recognize that I might be wrong here...) However, If I activate the free trial of CME for nonprofessional users (with a trading account) BUT I don't connect Sierra with TWS, what is going to happen? I see 2 possible results for this: 1- I will not be able to receive the datafeed until I complete the setup with TWS 2- I will receive the datafeed and I can use Sierra with all the volumes, Number bars, etc BUT at the end of the trial period, when next billing month starts, I can have some kind of problems and might be asked to pay much more money instead Please let me know, it might be useful also for other newbies of Sierra. Alternatively, is it OK if I choose instead to activate the FREE TRIAL for: >> CME, For professionals and users without a trading account >> Market Depth Included: Yes I will use it until May 31st and then in the future activate instead the CME market datafeed for nonprofessional users (with a trading account), at the discounted price.
