Hello

Just started using Sierra. Here is real rookie request to kick things off... I'm unable to see daily bars. I can plot intraday, but for daily/weekly etc, I basically can only see today's bar. See screenshot: http://www.sierrachart.com/image.php?Image=1526333969898.png

What Data or Trading service are you using or do you wish to use? See this page for the list:

Or, select "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings". What is the "Service" at the top left set to?

We can approach this differently. So disregard the prior post.

What we see is that you are using an IQ Feed symbol. Are you actually using IQ Feed with Sierra Chart?


Follow the instructions here to clear the Message Log:
Message Log: Clearing the Message Log

Fully re-download the data in the chart by going to the chart and selecting "Edit >>Delete All Data and Download".

After about a minute provide a copy of the Message Log following these instructions:

BTW, I am receiving the data on my machine. I can see it coming through in the IQFeed plug-in. Plus I am also able to run charts in NT using the very same data.

The problem with historical daily data downloading from IQ Feed and certain other services is due to an issue in the latest version related to some changes with historical daily data downloading.

This is now fixed and we will have a new release out by the afternoon.
