How does this Alert option work when multiple time frames are involved in an alert condition?

How does the Alert condition interpret it (CHECKED or UNCHECKED)? Thank you.

It still works as documented, the evaluation will be on the bar prior to the last chart bar.

I am not saying it doesn't work.

What is not documented is the alert behavior when you have multiple chart timeframes.

My alert condition is on the short-term chart. Thus, the bar close happens first on the short-term chart while the bar is still open on the longer term chart. So my question is, which chart governs the behavior of the alert when the 'Evaluate on Bar Close' is checked (or not checked)? Thank you.

I just want to mention that both short-term and higher time frame charts are part of the Alert condition.

So which chart determines the outcome of 'Evaluate on Bar Close' option when checked? When not checked, what is the effect? Thank you.

When an Alert Condition Formula is referencing data from other charts through studies which overlay that data to the chart containing the Alert Condition Formula, Evaluate on Bar Close always applies to the chart containing the study this option is enabled on, or applies to the chart this is enabled on if enabled through the Alert tab settings in the Chart Settings. Whatever data is present at the second to last bar in the chart, is the data that the evaluation is using.
