Hello,

I noticed that the Xs and Os of the P&F-Chart are drawn incorrectly:

SC draws a new X and a new O, once the price reaches the midpoint of this new X and O (the Point and Figure Chart Reversal Marker Study is also using this incorrect value):

The correct drawing would be:
X: once the price is >= than the previous X
O: once the price is <= than the previous O minus the box-size

Please change the current drawing behavior to the correct one.

Thank you!

We recommend to create your own custom version of Point and Figure bars using either the ACSIL custom chart bars capability or modifying the older existing Point and Figure study.

For an example, refer to:
/ACS_Source/ACSILCustomChartBars_Example.cpp

ACSIL documentation:
Advanced Custom Study Interface and Language (ACSIL)

We cannot change the existing chart bars because it is not believed to be wrong from our perspective, and there is a reliance on how it works.

Sure, and the availability of the source code of the studies is much appreciated!

I understand and I can't judge why it's believed to be correct from your perspective. I can only tell you, that it's incorrect based on "The Definitive Guide to Point and Figure: A Comprehensive Guide to the Theory and Practical Use of the Point and Figure Charting Method 2nd Edition by Jeremy du Plessis", which is the standard reference on this topic, and my experience with other charting tools.
